I have to admit, I have had trouble trying to figure out what to write about this week. I never have trouble writing. I am one of those lucky people that just ALWAYS have something to say. I know, that comes as no surprise. But in the aftermath of the Tuscaloosa tornado, I have seen my city rally together and become a national example of how to handle a disaster. Mayor Walter Maddox was written about in the NY Times yesterday! I have always been so proud of Tuscaloosa, as you know, but NEVER as in he last two weeks since the tornado ravaged a seventh of the city. See y'all, I have shouting from my national microphone for years about Tuscaloosa, and of course I was right. Tuscaloosa is a magical place. And it will be again.
